My son’s good friend Sasha was turning 7, and his uber-creative parents decided to throw him a LEGO party. I made the printables for them, and they pulled together an amazing event! This is the party table: And the party room. They punched out cupcake toppers and used them as a type of confetti. The swag from the chandelier is made up of cut plastic tablecloths. Clever, and more dramatic for a large room like this than streamers would have been.
Here is the patio table, where the kids ate. I love that they made the table kid-height. It really made the kids feel like they were VIPs.
They hung some of the 4-inch medallions (included in the collection) from the ceiling over the patio table.
This collection includes 2 banners, one pendant style like the one on the patio wall:
And here is the square banner:
Here are the water wraps (which are customized with age):
And now for the really cool part… the food! These colored marshmallows were made by the hostess, Victoria. They were a HUGE hit… the kids cleaned out this whole jar in no time!
These adorable LEGO heads were made from marshmallows as well:
Just cut mini marshmallows in half, and stick it on top of a large marshmallow. Dip them into yellow candy melts and draw the face on with a tube of black icing (food markers didn’t work as well, IMO). These LEGO cookies were just sugar cookies cut into rectangles, then topped with M&Ms and royal icing:
This crazy LEGO cake was made by a friend of the hosts…
The kids couldn’t stop looking at all aspects of the cake…
Activities at a LEGO party are easy! This birthday boy had an entertainment company lead the LEGO building, but you could just as easily throw a pile of LEGO on the table and let the kids go at it!
This LEGO game sign is included with the collection as well. The items in the jar are candy!
I hope you enjoyed a glimpse into this LEGO party!
