What is party styling?
Party Styling [definition]: Making your event memorable and unique by unifying the decor, food, activities and favors around a personalized theme, created by Renee’s Soirees and printed by you! (OK I made up the definition, but only because people keep asking me for one, and I couldn’t find one anywhere!)
If you can dream it, I can theme it!
Please feel free to email me with custom theme requests. Think outside the box! Did you know a party theme can be any color (how about a BLUE party?), any pattern (houndstooth? paisley?) a verb, a noun, and just about anything animal, vegetable or mineral!? Does the person you are hosting the party for have a favorite saying, hobby, toy, or dance?
Visit my Etsy shop for my current designs, or email me with your ideas! (Please note that I generally do not do licensed characters. For example, I am happy to do a train party, but not specifically Thomas.)
Renee, creator of Renee’s Soirees, received a degree in journalism and public relations from Arizona State University, and spent the next 18 years writing, event planning and doing graphic design in the corporate world. She went back for an MBA (earned while working full time) and intended to continue a career in the corporate PR world.
However Renee had always loved party planning, and her children always had thoroughly themed (although not necessarily expensive) parties that reflected what they loved at that point in their lives. So when she stumbled upon the budding industry of “Party Styling”, or creating fabulous soirees that both adults and children would enjoy, she knew she had found a new passion! It was happy coincidence that her French first name rhymed with the French word for party. And so Renee’s Soirees was born!
Renee’s Soirees has been featured in Parents Magazine and on websites such as TipJunkie and Hostess with the Mostess.
Renee is a coffee-addicted night owl who is never far from her laptop or her camera. She has lived in five different countries (Australia, Germany, England, France and the USA) but now rests her head with her family in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona.
Hi Renee,
I’m the food editor of the Daytona Beach News-Journal and I’m working on a story on ideas for children’s parties for the Daytona 500. Even though your apple and grape cars are Indy cars, I’d like to mention them and use a photo if possible. Please let me know if I have permission to use the photo I downloaded from your site — or if you send me a higher res image I might be able to use it larger.
Thanks for your help.
Denise
That’s fine Denise. 🙂
I will email you a high res photo tonight.
Thanks, and I’d love a link once it’s published!
